Library Remodel Update and Library Closures (Updated)

Attention patrons. We have a few announcements regarding library closures and the recent library remodel. Next week, from Monday, May 18, through Thursday, May 21, the library will be open from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm instead of regular hours. This is due to new carpet installation. The library will also be closed all day Friday, May 22, and Saturday, May 23, again due to carpet installation. We apologize for any inconvenience.

In addition to these limited hours and closures, the Hillside Public Library will also be closed every Sunday starting Sunday, May 24. This will continue through Labor Day. The Library will also be closed Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day.

Zinio for Libraries

The Hillside Public Library is proud to present Zinio for Libraries to its patrons. Zinio, the world”s largest newsstand, offers full color, interactive digital magazines for your enjoyment. Browse from your library”s collection of popular titles with no holds, no checkout periods, and no limit to the number of magazines you can download.

Zinio can be used online by first visiting Zinio, either by using the presented link or by clicking the online casino Zinio icon on the sidebar. You can then enter your library card and creating an account. You can also download Zinio to your iPad or an Android device once you are registered. However, after downloading the Zinio for Libraries app, a login is required.  Since this is a SHARED collection, patrons must select the following:  Country=United States, State=Maryland, Library Name= Popular 50eMagazine Collection and then enter email and password.  Your library name will not appear in the drop down box so this is very important.

For additional information regarding using Zinio for Libraries, check out this Zinio User Guide as well as the Android Mobile App Guide and the iPad Mobile App Guide.
