Join Jim Kouba, a geocaching enthusiast and local resident, as he shares his knowledge and love of geocaching! Part 1 will be learning about geocaching and the types of hidden “treasures” out there.

No matter how rapid the arrival of professional emergency responders, bystanders will always be first on the scene. This Stop the Bleed class encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Also helpful for parents and caregivers.

Part 2 will go over the do's & don'ts of hiding a cache and we will create and hide a unique Hillside Public Library geocache. We will also try some geocaching in the Hillside Commons. All ages welcome, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

After Hour Spooky Movies Friday Oct. 18 and Friday Oct. 25 from 5-7pm We'll be showing a spooky movie with free snacks! Check the YA blog or in the library to see which movie is showing. All movies will be rated PG-13 or below. Bring a friend!
Saturday, October 19 from 1:30-2:15pm for Grade 1 – Grade 6 Advanced registration required. (Kindergarteners and younger are welcome with a caregiver.) Show off your creative painting skills at this fun Saturday craft. All supplies (including the pumpkins!) provided.
We will be making ornaments for the library’s Christmas tree that will be in the Berkeley Village Holiday Walk this December. Winter themed refreshments will be served. Register by Friday, October 18. Minimum 5.
