INTERNET SAFETY
The Hillside Public Library suggests that online visitors use good judgment when accessing information on the Internet. Patrons should be aware of the experience and education of the author of the information sought. You need to balance that information against your own previous knowledge. Also, be sure that you are aware of the date that the information was published on the Internet. Cross check the information you receive against valued print resources in your library. The Hillside Public Library does not endorse and is not responsible for information available on any Internet website. Please connect to (www.internetsafety.com/) to learn more about Internet Safety issues for you and your children.
MEETING ROOMS
The Hillside Public Library maintains two meeting rooms in the lower level of the library available to the public for their use for educational and cultural purposes. Interested patrons should inquire at the circulation desk for the Meeting Room Policy and sign an application form before the request can be scheduled.
Library programs and library business meeting will always take precedence over other requests. All meetings must take place during normally scheduled library hours. The small room can accommodate meetings for groups up to 12 members while the large meeting room has a capacity of 80. The library can provide tables and chairs but does not provide set-up or take down for meetings.
