The Bicentennial Commission Scholarship was established to celebrate and commemorate the Bicentennial of the American Revolution. The scholarship was part of the Bicentennial Commission, who was entrusted to meet the challenges of a “Horizons 76 Project,” to “manifest the hopes and dreams of the community, and that will last beyond 1976.” This scholarship has been presented since then and has helped a number of residents achieve their dreams.
