Attention patrons. Hillside Public Library currently allows patrons to drop off recycled materials in our front end. Unfortunately, we are overflowing with recyclable materials and cannot handle the load. However, there are alternatives to this. You can bring your recyclable materials to any location that takes recyclable materials. Here is a link to Earth911 which allows you to put in your zip code to find the closet location near you to recycle whichever recyclable material you have. These materials can include glass, paper, plastic, electronics, batteries, metal, hazardous materials and more. Using this site will not only help Hillside Public Library deal with its overflow problems, but will also help to build a more sustainable future for our planet. Thank you.
